About the role

  • Intern responsible for supporting maintenance management and technical documentation at Corbion's plant. Focused on reliability engineering tasks in Campos, Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance management by performing asset, spare parts and maintenance plan registrations.
  • Consult technical documentation, work orders, purchase/service orders and material movements in the maintenance software (SAP).
  • Assist in conducting readiness activities for new projects.
  • Verify in the field that flowcharts and project documentation match, photograph assets and request technical documentation for registration in the maintenance software.
  • Support the registration of spare parts and maintenance plans.
  • Assess the suitability of new equipment and materials offered to replace obsolete items by analyzing datasheets and process parameters to confirm compatibility and ensure the proposed material can be used.
  • Review asset life information (update the serial number of newly installed equipment in the asset TAG record in the maintenance software) to ensure reliable asset histories.
  • Monitor maintenance shutdown activities, especially for the most critical process assets, preparing technical reports with details and photos of the work performed.
  • Comply with the company’s Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
  • Properly dispose of generated waste.
  • Contribute to accident prevention.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, between the 6th and 7th semester.
  • Intermediate English preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
