About the role

  • Manage pricing strategy for AMEA region at Copeland, a global climate technologies company. Drive price planning, analytics, and strategy to support profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall AMEA price gain/loss plan.
  • Work with the pricing director on plan development and driving execution.
  • Manage price planning processes: propose activities, targets, monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly status and directions.
  • Lead and/or support strategic initiatives and strategies, such as long-tail pricing, price/margin analysis, list-less pricing, freight pricing, MNC pricing, Power/Risk frameworks, and more.
  • Collaborate with key functions such as product marketing, life-cycle management, regional sales, and finance to assess current pricing strategies and implement plans to address gaps or optimization opportunities.
  • Support negotiations and analysis for long-term contracts.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on a regular basis - price realization versus budget commitments by market segments, region, customer, model, etc.
  • Maintain KPI Bowlers, comprehensive pricing data and reporting system for AMEA and collaborate with global systems team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or Finance.
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, analytics, or finance is an advantage.
  • Pricing qualification or certification would be a plus (e.g. Certified Pricing Professional designation).
  • 5 years or more experience in B2B pricing strategy and analytics.
  • Strong process management experience in a multinational environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment and at different levels of the organization, from frontline up to senior management.
  • Expert-level data analysis skills in Excel, including pivot tables, sophisticated formulas, macros, Power Query, etc.
  • Skills in Data Storytelling and Root Cause / Gap Analysis.
  • Experience using, maintaining, and creating data management and visualization tools (SQL, Power BI, Domo, or similar).
  • Above average communication skills (oral & written).
