- Act as a Solution Architect by evaluating business requirements, translating them into high-level architectural designs, and ensuring that proposed solutions fit within enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Lead the creation of technical design documents, architecture diagrams, integration flows, and data models for complex systems to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with architectural standards.
- Review and contribute to design and architecture documents, providing feedback to ensure clarity, quality, maintainability, scalability, performance, and security.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, open communication, and continuous learning among team members.
- Resolving technical challenges and addressing issues that arise during the development process, leveraging their expertise to find effective, secure, and scalable architectural solutions and keep projects on track.
- Work closely with other team members, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Offer guidance and support to team members, helping them navigate technical challenges, understand complex concepts, and improve their skills.
- Ensure that code reviews are conducted regularly as part of the development process to maintain code quality, identify bugs, and prevent technical debt.
- Validate that implementation aligns with the approved architecture throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as a point of escalation for technical and team-related issues.
- Contribute to resource planning, task allocation, and performance evaluations.
- Participate in agile planning and stand-up meetings as necessary.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining web applications.
- 8+ years of experience with Java
- 8+ years of experience with relational databases
- 8+ years of experience with testing web applications and enterprise software through manual and automated techniques/unit test frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience with JSON, XML, XSD, and XSL
- 8+ years of experience with developing and maintaining REST-based APIs.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-native technologies and architectures.
- 3+ years of experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure distributed enterprise solutions in complex, multi-tier systems.
- 5+ years of experience with git.
