About the role
- Senior Data Engineer / Data Scientist developing AI-driven solutions at GFT. Focus on scalable data pipelines, AI/ML models, and LLM technologies while collaborating with UK banking clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines
- Build and optimize AI/ML models
- Develop agent-based solutions using modern Agentic AI frameworks
- Work with LLM and Generative AI solutions (prompting, orchestration, evaluation)
- Process and transform large datasets using distributed computing frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in similar roles
- Very good knowledge of Python 3.x
- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI agent development
- Knowledge of LLM and Generative AI (prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation)
- Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
- Practical experience within the Big Data ecosystem
- Experience in developing analytical or alerting models
- Solid understanding of data pipelines and scalable data architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- English level B2+
