About the role
- Guidewire Developer responsible for designing and developing solutions in Guidewire products. Leading a team to deliver configurations and integrations while working with customers in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- The GW Developer will have a thorough understanding of Guidewire products with a specific skill set in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter or ClaimCenter.
- This role will work with internal/external customers to design, develop, make program and/or configuration & integration changes to deliver business functionality within Guidewire.
- The individual will be a leader within the team and help develop GW skills and experience with other team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience of minimu of 5 yrs in configuring and developing several areas of PolicyCenter & ClaimCenter
- Proven experinece in implementation of Guidewire accelerators
- Good exposure to SDLC and Java EE experience.
- Experience with full SDLC and appreciation for Iterative (Agile) development lifecycle as used in Guidewire implementations
- Robust understanding of Guidewire Data Model
- Experience in GW Configuration/Integration Development (GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Workflow, Product Model development)
- Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools
- Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat
- Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2
- Insurance Industry and Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins.
- Ability to drive the work forward, collaborating with the business and technical staff on a daily basis.
