About the role

  • Android Developer focusing on Kotlin and SDKs with AI integration at GFT. Building efficient mobile applications with advanced payment technologies and observability.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Kotlin SDKs/libs for integration (HTTP clients, JSON/Protobuf serialization, semantic versioning, retry policies, circuit breaker, robust JNI wrappers)
  • Standardize contracts between mobile and BFF; develop simulators/mocks (mock BFF, mock mSiTef/SiTef-like) to accelerate Android development and QA testing
  • Implement complete mobile observability: OpenTelemetry (OTel) instrumentation in the Android app, trace correlation across mobile → JNI → BFF, and creation and maintenance of dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Datadog or similar)
  • Integrate AI on mobile: TFLite / ONNX / ML Kit models for heuristics to prioritize feature flags/over-the-air updates, detect usage/failure patterns, and proactively suggest actions (automatic diagnostics)
  • Configure and evolve mobile automation in Harness (or a similar pipeline): pre-release validations, instrumented smoke tests, degraded network simulations (throttling, packet loss) and resilience scenarios

Requirements

  • Advanced Kotlin for Android (strong experience with Clean Architecture, coroutines, Flows, Jetpack)
  • Solid fundamentals in JNI (Java Native Interface) and native C/C++ ↔ Kotlin integration
  • Experience with efficient serialization (JSON and Protobuf)
  • Telemetry and advanced diagnostics on real devices (crash reporting, performance profiling, structured logging)
  • Knowledge of mobile AI/heuristics (TFLite, ML Kit, ONNX Runtime Mobile or equivalents)
  • Intermediate English required (technical reading, writing, calls and documentation)
  • Proven experience with EMV payments, NFC, and hardware troubleshooting (POS, payment terminals, card readers)
  • Track record of creating internal reusable SDKs consumed by multiple apps and teams.

Benefits

  • Multi-benefit card — choose how and where to use it.
  • Scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, MBA and language courses.
  • Incentive programs for certifications.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Competitive salaries.
  • Annual performance review with a structured career plan.
  • Opportunity for international career development.
  • Wellhub and TotalPass.
  • Private pension plan.
  • Childcare assistance.
  • Health insurance.
  • Dental insurance.
  • Life insurance.
