Responsibilities
- Execute assigned projects and tasks as outlined by the mentor
- Prepare and submit weekly project reports and summaries outlining progress and deliverables
- Meet regularly with a mentor to review project status, reports, and address questions
- Support the department and broader organization by contributing innovative ideas, solutions, and an external perspective
- Assist with documenting and refining business and functional requirements, including user stories
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to gather and analyze requirements and help define solutions that deliver value to customers
- Document process flows and participate in design sessions to translate technical designs into effective product solutions
- Perform system analysis on existing applications and recommend approaches for integrating new requirements into current software products
- Participate in active projects, collaborate with the development team, and gain hands-on exposure to multiple phases of the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate in Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Available to work 40 hours/week (hybrid) for 10 weeks: June 2nd - August 6th, 2026
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of general software development concepts and SQL
- Ability to communicate effectively both with non-technical business users and the technical engineering team
