About the role
- Lead Product Designer responsible for user experience design for cloud hosting products at Contabo. Collaborating with multiple teams to implement impactful UX strategies.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for a consistent, intuitive and well-considered user experience across all our products
- Develop the UX/UI framework; define design principles, interaction patterns and the design system
- Reduce complexity and turn technical offerings into clear, understandable user experiences
- Analyse existing journeys, identify friction points, formulate UX principles and develop reusable concepts
- Establish standards that make our work faster, more efficient and more consistent
- Be part of the long-term product strategy and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Ensure decisions are grounded in UX principles and deliver real user value
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a UX or Product Designer working on complex digital products
- Proven experience building or rolling out design systems / component libraries
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to simplify complex relationships
- Confident use of common UX tools (Figma, prototyping, user flows, design tokens, etc.)
- Ability to question requirements, define principles and clearly justify decisions
- High level of ownership, a structured working style and an ownership mentality
- Very good English skills
