About the role
- Logistics Analyst managing export operations of sugar for Copersucar. Ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction in logistics operations and participating in cost reduction efforts.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for export operations of bagged white sugar by container or breakbulk vessel, from outbound at the mills through delivery at destination terminals.
- Ensure operational efficiency, reduce costs and avoid additional charges such as container detention and demurrage.
- Manage bookings through to shipment, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Responsible for domestic market operations, ensuring customers' OTIF targets and product quality.
- Participate in daily production meetings.
- Operate company systems for production and scheduling management such as SAP and Carga Pontual.
- Address deviations and incidents in operations and quality, proposing corrective and/or preventive actions to guide case resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or International Trade.
- Postgraduate degree in Logistics or International Trade is desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in large-scale logistics operations, distribution networks, export operations by container and/or breakbulk operations.
- Experience in a Control Tower or Integrated Operations Center is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication.
- Knowledge of optimization tools and process simulators is an advantage.
- Advanced English required (will be assessed during the selection process).
- Availability to work a hybrid schedule 4x1 (one day remote per week).
