About the role

• Senior Cloud Engineer building and running diverse services for developers and teams. Working on Kubernetes clusters, internal systems, and tools while ensuring application operational support.

Responsibilities

• We are looking to strengthen our Platform team. The team is responsible for a wide range of services for our developers and other teams:
• Building and operating Kubernetes clusters
• Building and operating internal systems
• Developing and operating (Ops) tools
• Supporting development teams with various analyses and operational challenges of our application
• Supporting external customers with the implementation of our application

Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps engineer or in a comparable role
• You have strong communication skills, analytical thinking, a willingness to learn, and deliver pragmatic, clean solutions
• You know how to operate and scale SaaS platforms, ensuring performance, high availability, data security, cost-efficiency, and reliability
• You bring experience in the architecture and design of complex cloud-native systems and can define best practices and standards across teams
• You have experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes (EKS, self-managed clusters, networking, security, scaling), Terraform (Infrastructure as Code, modular & multi-cloud strategies), Docker & Helm (containerization and application deployment)
• You have knowledge of automation, observability, and delivery tools: scripting (preferably Ruby, but also Python/Bash), Go, application monitoring & logging (Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, metrics, alerting), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, automation), as well as networking technologies (VPCs, routing, load balancers, DNS)
