About the role
- Expert z/OS managing critical mainframe environments, optimizing systems and enforcing security measures. Collaborating with internal teams and transferring knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize z/OS systems and their associated components
- Manage Sysplex, ICSF, and Coupling Facility environments
- Configure and monitor network traffic and flows (VTAM, TCP/IP, TN3270, WAN)
- Enhance security through RACF administration and firewall management
- Contribute to automation using REXX, Shell, and USS scripting
- Participate in knowledge transfer to internal teams
Requirements
- Strong expertise in z/OS mainframe environments
- Deep knowledge of networking and security
- Proficiency with REXX, Shell, USS / Linux
- High degree of autonomy, strong analytical skills, and clear communication
