About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsibility for DevOps activities related to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure
- Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar technologies
- Deployment, operation and optimization of Kubernetes clusters, including containerization with Docker
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure using modern tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or the ELK stack
- Collaboration with cloud architects and cloud engineers on planning and executing cloud migrations
- Configuration and optimization of network infrastructures (e.g., Interconnect, VPNs) in hybrid cloud setups
- Evaluation and introduction of new tools and technologies
- Technical consulting and support in pre-sales
- Development and integration of cloud applications and microservices
- Backend development in Java
Requirements
- Completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent vocational training
- Strong motivation to gain expertise in cloud technologies such as GCP or Azure
- Basic experience in automating build and deployment processes and in creating CI/CD pipelines
- Initial experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible is an advantage but not required
- Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes, with practical experience in building, operating and optimizing Kubernetes clusters
- High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- Practical experience with Java and Spring
- German: at least C1, English: at least B2
