About the role

• Cloud DevOps Engineer focusing on GCP and Azure at codeitlabs, facilitating digital transformation for SMEs. Responsibilities include CI/CD, containerization, and collaboration with cloud architects.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for DevOps activities related to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure
• Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
• Implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar technologies
• Deployment, operation and optimization of Kubernetes clusters, including containerization with Docker
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure using modern tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or the ELK stack
• Collaboration with cloud architects and cloud engineers on planning and executing cloud migrations
• Configuration and optimization of network infrastructures (e.g., Interconnect, VPNs) in hybrid cloud setups
• Evaluation and introduction of new tools and technologies
• Technical consulting and support in pre-sales
• Development and integration of cloud applications and microservices
• Backend development in Java

Requirements

• Completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent vocational training
• Strong motivation to gain expertise in cloud technologies such as GCP or Azure
• Basic experience in automating build and deployment processes and in creating CI/CD pipelines
• Initial experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible is an advantage but not required
• Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes, with practical experience in building, operating and optimizing Kubernetes clusters
• High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
• Practical experience with Java and Spring
• German: at least C1, English: at least B2
