• Attorney specializing in insurance coverage and litigation for Clyde & Co in California. Analyzing insurance policies and providing legal advice while managing client communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation.
• Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in California.
• Will consider other bar admissions for seasoned candidates with extensive coverage experience.
• Has experience in insurance coverage and/or coverage litigation or a commercial litigation background with an interest in insurance coverage work.
• Has excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Has strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Has the ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Has effective problem-solving skills.
• Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
