About the role

  • Senior Bookkeeper managing bookkeeping for various companies with responsibility for financial reports and supervision. Requires 10+ years experience and Type 3 Bookkeeping Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping, including preparation of periodic financial reports.
  • Ongoing work with banks, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Work with local and foreign vendors, including invoice processing and payments (MASAV, bank transfers).
  • Ongoing and annual reporting to authorities (VAT, Income Tax).
  • Monthly closing of the books, including preparation of reports for the CPA and performing analytical reviews.
  • Handling complex journal entries and end-of-period accruals (intercompany reconciliations, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, fixed asset management).

Requirements

  • Type 3 Bookkeeping Certificate - required.
  • At least 10 years of experience as an independent bookkeeper, including balance sheet preparation and period-end closing.
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Full proficiency in ERP systems - significant advantage for NetSuite.
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Good level of English.
  • Highly organized, accurate, responsible, fast learner, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, system-oriented mindset, and excellent human relations.
  • Experience in an international high-tech company - Advantages
