About the role
- Retail Field Auditor ensuring compliance in Clayton-owned retail centers through detailed auditing and operational oversight. Requires travel and proficiency in business accounting and audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct retail audits of home centers based on Retail Audit Scorecard Rules and Guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all CMH operational policy and procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively and complete work in retail home centers.
- Prepare professional and concise audit summaries via email and situational summaries as required.
Requirements
- Direct work experience and/or background in accounting, internal audit and/or business management preferred.
- High tolerance for being “on the road” for most weeks throughout the year.
- Basic understanding of business accounting, GAAP (BSBA degree preferred, not necessary)
- Strong business analyst skills.
- Familiarity/ability to read and interpret a profit and loss statement and other relevant documents.
- Proficient in Clayton’s processes and electronic information systems such as LINK reports, Concur, SAP, MS Office, and Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
