About the role
- Software Engineer II developing next-generation cloud infrastructure for Clari's Revenue platform. Collaborating across teams to build scalable and efficient systems in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation infrastructure platforms that improve scalability, reliability, and developer velocity across the organization
- Develop self-service infrastructure capabilities that enable engineering teams to provision, deploy, and operate their services securely, efficiently, and with minimal friction
- Write functional specifications and design documents for components/features/capabilities, such as cloud-agnostic provisioning, networking, security, auto-scaling, self-healing, observability, etc.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges through peer reviews, technical design evaluations, and hands-on troubleshooting
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing and building cloud infrastructure (preferably on AWS) including multi-account and multi-region setups
- 2+ years of hands-on experience provisioning cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code tools, ideally Terraform
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools, preferably Kubernetes
- Solid foundation in programming principles, algorithms, and software application design
- Demonstrated experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools such as Argo and Flux, including automated deployments, environment promotion, and configuration drift detection
