About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and ship AI microservices using agentic capabilities, RAG, prompt pipelines for insight extractions
- Build data pipelines to power Applied AI features at scale
- Own AI evaluation frameworks and safety guardrails (PII filtering, toxicity checks)
- Run A/B tests, deploy behind feature flags, iterate weekly based on usage data
- Write production Python code, deploy on k8s, and own LLD for their modules
- Help teams across Clari integrate GenAI capabilities effectively
Requirements
- 3+ years engineering experience
- 2+ years building LLM/GenAI features (OpenAI, Bedrock, Claude, Llama2)
- Strong Python skills (typing, async, pytest)
- Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
- Hands-on with vector databases: Elasticsearch, Pinecone, FAISS, or similar
- Backend fundamentals: REST APIs, microservices, distributed queues (Kafka/SQS)
- Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and token optimization
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
