About the role
- Investment Transition Manager owning end-to-end accounting data migration for Citco's clients. Overseeing reconciliations and coordinating with various teams to meet client needs and standards.
Responsibilities
- Owning and leading end‑to‑end accounting data migration for new acquisition onboardings between client, seller and third-party providers
- Defining and overseeing Incoming and Outgoing Data: incoming file review, process flow, identification of missing documents and its timely collection according to internal Citco checklists
- Preparation and oversight of asset and SPV acquisition reconciliations, ensuring full alignment between legal documentation, purchase price calculations, cash movements and fund flows
- Coordinating with accounting and other relevant teams to ensure internal workflows will meet client needs and IFRS standards, as well as capturing relevant financial information for client reporting and calculation models
- Assisting in Project Management with New Business: New clients onboarding, Organic growth onboarding, process improvements
- Overseeing and reviewing SPVs set-ups in Citco and client Yardi
- Leading and contributing to internal process improvement projects
- Drafting task performance procedures and/or operational memorandum
- Taking full ownership of the assigned portfolio, taking a leading role in client operational calls presenting project status as well as collecting significant updates in relation to pipeline; taking a leading role in onboarding calls between Client, Seller, former accountants and Citco
- Effectively demonstrating and communicating Citco’s workflows, best practices and technologies
- Assisting with preparing SLA and KPI agreements, arranging for execution.
Requirements
- Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in either of the following or related fields: Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Economics; IFRS knowledge required
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (Big 4 or large mid-size public accounting firm experience would be considered an advantage)
- Working knowledge of RE or PE SPV accounting would be considered an advantage
- Experienced in servicing clients in the asset management industry is a plus
- Strong project management skills with high attention to details required
- Strong team player who exhibits strong communication and written skills
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product
- Able to handle several projects and different stakeholders simultaneously, and prioritize work based on deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
