About the role
- Senior Digital Design Engineer developing mixed-signal integrated circuits for consumer brands. Collaborating in a team environment to design and validate high-performance ICs.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including delta-sigma ADC’s and DAC’s, amplifiers, DC/DC converters
- Collaborate within a team environment to design digital subsystems
- Take ownership of the design and development of various digital and DSP IP blocks
- Verify subsystems in a directed test environment
- Support tape-out and post-silicon activities, including validation, characterization, and production test
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of digital system design experience; or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of digital system design experience; or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Strong DSP skills and a working knowledge of high-level modeling tools like Simulink, Matlab, or similar.
- Understanding and experience implementing IIR and FIR filters.
- Ability to analyze linear and non-linear signal processing systems.
- Strong microprocessor and complex state-machine development skills, including understanding ARM processors and support environments, buses, peripherals, etc.
- The ability to design complex state machines that support analog systems, including calibration.
- Strong lab and silicon validation skills.
