About the role
- Credit Manager responsible for managing complex credit books for high net worth clients in Private Banking. Ensuring credit quality and providing guidance on credit requests.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for ongoing management and administration of complex credit book in Private Banking
- Analyze and understand client financial information and assess relative strength against credit request
- Prepare credit applications and partner with Wealth Risk Management
- Manage existing complex credit book, focusing on expiries
- Provide credit structuring guidance to Private Banking Advisors
- Support leadership team in preparation of deal summaries on large credit requests
- Active engagement within Private Banking office, ensuring awareness of credit policy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary educational provider, preference for business and/or finance
- Solid working knowledge of main credit principles for personal lending, high net worth clientele
- Solid working knowledge of main credit principles for commercial lending
- Knowledge and experience reading/interpreting/analyzing financial statements
- Knowledge of high net worth financial/estate planning concepts
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
