About the role

  • Regional Procurement Manager at C.H. Robinson driving global procurement initiatives. Managing complex sourcing events with a focus on cost savings and value-added solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global procurement and logistics initiatives, managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Build and sustain strategic partnerships focused on cost savings, value creation, and innovative service offerings
  • Own customer and carrier transitions, including coordination with transportation management system providers
  • Deliver benchmarking, KPI analysis, and executive-level business reviews for customers and carriers
  • Direct cross-functional, global project teams, securing resources, alignment, and stakeholder commitment
  • Develop statements of work, drive customer sign-off, and secure repeat business opportunities
  • Facilitate project targets, manage scope, risks, and issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Advance procurement methodologies, tools, infrastructure, and presentation standards
  • Partner with sales, account management, and product teams to support growth and new service development

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years of previous procurement experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (preferred)
  • Previous project management experience leading global projects (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate global audience
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills with proven business acumen
