Responsibilities
Ensure the accounting processing of expenses (verification of legal commitments and recording of services performed in the accounting system) as well as revenues
Document management and archiving of supporting documents related to expenses and revenues
Ensure client invoicing follow-up in coordination with operational departments
Participate in year-end closing tasks
Carry out collection activities and bank monitoring/reconciliations by delegation and within the framework set by the accounting officer
Follow up on dunning and any outstanding disputes
Contribute to the implementation of internal control processes necessary for the performance of our establishments
Any other tasks that may be assigned within the scope of the regional accounting/finance department
Requirements
Post-secondary diploma equivalent to Bac+2 (two years of higher education) with strong accounting knowledge (2–5 years’ experience preferred)
Solid accounting technical skills – proficiency in public sector accounting rules
Strong proficiency with IT tools and accounting software
Energetic, motivated for professional development, and proactive in proposing improvements
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Discretion, autonomy, rigor, good listening skills, diplomacy, and strong organizational abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
