About the role

  • Actuarial Intern performing data analysis for Crum & Forster while collaborating with the Actuarial Team and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and analysis of actuarial data
  • Automating and migrating current SQL processes to a new environment
  • Researching ISO rating manuals and preparing rating specifications for rating service development
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze data
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • College sophomore preferred, but juniors will also be considered
  • Completion of at least one actuarial exam is required
  • Experience with SQL is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
