About the role

• IT Project Manager managing complex IT projects for business transformation initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring project delivery within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

• Handles medium and large-scale complex IT projects related to major business development and company transformation initiatives.
• Coordinates cross functional teams (including any external parties involved) and acts as liaison between IT and business stakeholders (including external stakeholders).
• Defines resource requirements, ensures resource availability and allocation in collaboration with the Department heads.
• Works with project teams (IT and business stakeholders) in clarifying project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (including external stakeholders).
• Develops detailed project plan using the appropriate tools in accordance with the company processes, tracks activities against plan providing regular, accurate and timely reports.
• Monitors project progress and manages changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Performs risk management to minimize project risks, escalates appropriately when/as necessary.
• Measures project performance, using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Creates and maintains project documentation (actions, issues, risks log and status reports).
• Prepares agendas for the project meetings, circulates minutes of meetings and coordinates any required follow-up activities.
• Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant technology-related field
• Minimum 5 years of of proven working experience in managing Information Technology solutions delivery projects
• Excellent knowledge of Project Management tools, experience in Waterfall or/and Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience in Banking environment or/and Project Management certification will be considered an asset
• Computer literacy, knowledge of MS Office
