About the role
- Business Continuity and Crisis Manager at a medium-sized bank specializing in regulated cryptocurrency trading. Developing resilience strategies and crisis management to ensure operational stability.
Responsibilities
- Further development and expansion of resilience and emergency management in line with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act)
- Analysis of business-critical processes and development of measures to minimize risk
- Planning, coordination and documentation of emergency exercises and business recovery tests
- Implementation of awareness-raising and training measures and advisory support to business units on business continuity and crisis management
- Close collaboration with IT Service Continuity Management, Risk Management and external partners
- In the event of an incident: coordination of the crisis team and ensuring smooth communication and decision-making
- Central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external audit and supervisory bodies
Requirements
- Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and standards in Business Continuity Management (particularly in the banking environment)
- Experience in process analysis and in drafting policies, procedures and manuals
- Strong team and communication skills and a confident demeanour
- Fluent German and good English skills
