About the role
- Accounting Manager overseeing Record‑to‑Report (RTR) process for Carrier, ensuring compliance with US and Thai GAAP. Leading audit support and enhancing accounting procedures across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP, Thai GAAP, and internal control standards.
- Lead monthly and year‑end closing activities.
- Support audits, improve accounting procedures, and drive systems and process enhancements across the organization.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Perform month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with TFRS, US GAAP, Thai GAAP, and BOI requirements.
- Monitor compliance and recommend improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Implement and maintain effective accounting policies aligned with local and international standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for unusual transactions or significant changes.
- Support controllership with proactive communication regarding potential risks or issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Thai GAAP, tax regulations, and BOI requirements.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Good command of English and strong computer literacy.
- Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making abilities.
- Experience in an international company or audit firm is preferred.
- Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and fast learning capability.
