Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a globally aligned category strategy and long-range plan within the region
- Deliver category targets across cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance
- Align with cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, Product Lines, Quality, Operations)
- Drive end-to-end supplier management and development
- Secure contractual requirements and run continuous, data-driven negotiations
- Identify and mitigate supply risk by building resiliency
- Integrate ESG requirements into sourcing decisions
- Champion e-sourcing, e-auctions, analytics, dashboards, and leverage cost models
- Ensure early supplier involvement and guide NPI/NPD sourcing
- Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and grow the team
Requirements
- Master's degree within engineering, business or an equivalent field
- 15+ years leadership experience in comparable roles
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by influence
