About the role
- Refinery Production Engineer driving operational performance and process management in manufacturing plants. Collaborating with multiple functions for production quality and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver production excellence processes and management systems focused on driving operational performance and value creation across manufacturing plants.
- Ensure alignment of key operational metrics.
- Represent the plant in collaboration with R&D, Business, Technical Service, and other functions.
- Analyze and develop recommendations regarding failures and lost production.
- Implement and audit leading operational practices and monitor key performance indicators.
- Manage and implement proactive maintenance and reliability activities, production excellence activities and continuous improvement activities.
- Lead local and departmental alignment of stakeholders including operations, environmental and supply chain.
- Implement technology transfer packages to locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Less than 3 years of work experience related to edible oil Production/ Technical Service /R&D/Food Safety Quality Regulation
- Fluent in English reading and writing
- Knowledge and application of safety principles and methodologies
- Lean six sigma and continuous improvement capabilities
- Experience creating complex tests and analysis
- Project management experience
- SAP experience
