- Assess current manufacturing equipment and processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Help to fix and repair equipment.
- Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over variables like temperature, density, pressure, and viscosity.
- Analyze capital expenditures and project designs for cost-effective approaches promoting higher quality outcomes.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating complex issues.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Oils / Chemicals with relevant experience
- Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications
- Possesses working knowledge of engineering subject matter
- Use of PI (data historian), ACAD (auto CAD), MS Project programs
- Project management experience gained through prior experience
- Minimum of five year of related work experience
- Experience with Green Belt, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
