About the role
- Traveling Field Service Programmer providing technical assistance in the HVAC industry. Ensuring successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC control systems with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for providing technical assistance and service to customers in the HVAC industry
- Coach and mentor both Associate level and Install Technical Specialists in various disciplines of system installation
- Coordinate on-site with contractors and work towards continuous improvement of commissioning practices
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Honeywell systems and Industry Best Practices
- Travel up to 70% to customer sites primarily in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and surrounding region
Requirements
- 3 or more years’ experience in building controls and automation, with specialized expertise in Tridium Niagara 4 and Niagara AX, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing energy management systems
- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC controls field service experience, with a strong background in system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Working knowledge of BACnet control systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving issues
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
