About the role

Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions
  • Work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate
  • Report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager
  • Impact the development of cutting-edge systems that power innovative solutions
  • Ensure that the system design aligns with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends
  • Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives
  • Effective coordination and communication with multi-disciplinary design teams, systems engineering teams, project management organizations, internal and external customers
  • Technical leadership and oversight of control system integration and test and development equipment
  • Ownership and leading field issue troubleshooting and support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in systems engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Experience in leading complex system integration projects
  • Knowledge of the product development lifecycle
  • Individuals that quickly analyze and apply new information and concepts
  • Leading diverse and global team
  • Individuals who are self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
  • Multi-tasking and can manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
