About the role
- Principal Hardware Engineer developing innovative Weather Radar solutions at Honeywell Aerospace. Designing and testing products from prototype to market with a focus on quality and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Weather Radar products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market
- Have ownership and accountability for sustainment of our fielded radar products
- Interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 10 years of experience in Aerospace or related industry.
- Strong understanding of DO254 and DO160G.
- Strong understanding of FAA and TSO certification processes.
