About the role

  • Advanced Project Engineer managing software development for aerospace control systems at Honeywell Aerospace. Leading complex projects and collaborating with diverse teams in an innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify any issues, and address them promptly.
  • Assess, communicate, and mitigate technical risks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with a global team to ensure project alignment and success.

Requirements

  • University education in an Engineering field, preferably with an IT/programming background.
  • 3+ years’ experience in project engineering, experience with various project management tools and methodologies, risk management and problem-solving
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget, preferably from R&D environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language (B2/C1 level) for regular spoken and written communication.
  • Self-motivated to learn and grow, with the ability to work with minimal supervision while consistently taking the initiative to complete tasks without being prompted.
  • Any of the following will be considered as advantageous: technical expertise in aerospace engineering principles and practices, experience in the development of real-time embedded software, knowledge of software regulatory standards, including DO-178B and experience in designing.
