About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing complex simulation initiatives at West Virginia University. Ensuring high quality execution and strategic management in educational and healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage project plans, charters, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Lead large, multi departmental projects involving academic units, clinical partners, and external vendors.
  • Oversee project tracking and develop dashboards, progress reports, and Key performance indicators.
  • Identify risks, issues, and barriers; develop mitigation plans and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Contribute to long term strategic planning for simulation education growth and healthcare system integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, education, health sciences, business administration, or related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of project coordination or project management experience in healthcare, academic health sciences, education, or related settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi stakeholder projects
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
