  • Occupational Therapist supporting patients through assessment and intervention in Manitoba's healthcare system. Collaborating with clients to promote health, prevent disability, and ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients through assessment, interventions, and follow-up
  • Plan and design services to meet occupational performance goals
  • Support healthy lifestyles and prevent illness and disability
  • Promote health and quality client care through research and quality improvement

Requirements

  • Entry-to-practice academic credential in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Canadian university program
  • Registration required with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training in accordance with Employer policy
  • Membership in the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) preferred
  • Competence in an Indigenous language and knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions and values preferred
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines
