About the role
- Junior Product Manager responsible for developing product ranges at Medline in Europe. Collaborating with diverse teams to optimize product strategies and market launch initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product categories within your portfolio to optimize profitability and achieve the company's marketing, financial, and growth objectives
- Develop market assessments and product launch plans for new products to drive sales and maximize margins
- Negotiate with current suppliers to secure better costs and increase capacity to support division growth, with support from the Procurement department
- Evaluate competitors (product portfolios, pricing, market share, etc.) and assist the sales team in preparing customer proposals
- Train sales teams at European seminars and locally by developing training programs and marketing materials
- Collaborate with the Operating Room division in the United States to leverage Medline's scale, strength, and expertise in Europe
- Continuously work to streamline the portfolio to simplify our offering and increase procurement efficiency
- Act as a cross-functional team lead during the product development phase regarding product launch/modification procedures
Requirements
- Business degree and at least 2–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, and/or product management, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills
- Analytical mindset and confident problem-solving ability, with initiative and a track record of meeting goals
- Experience negotiating with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in another European language is an asset
- Strong computer skills (proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
