About the role

• QA/ Test Analyst implementing test scenarios for mobile apps at Capgemini. Executing tests and managing documentation in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of test scenarios;
• Environment configuration and execution of tests on Android and iOS devices;
• Management of emulators/simulators and real devices;
• Debugging mobile applications and analyzing error logs;
• Validation of RESTful APIs;
• Validation of requests (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and their responses (JSON/XML);
• Validation of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as JWT tokens and OAuth;
• Creating and managing branches and resolving merge conflicts;
• Executing automation pipelines;
• Creating consistent test environments;
• Task management and bug tracking;
• Creating and maintaining clear, organized documentation in Confluence.

Requirements

• Java or any object-oriented language, with focus on test automation;
• Knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG;
• Familiarity with Cucumber;
• Experience with Appium;
• Experience with tools like RestAssured or Postman;
• Experience with Git;
• Basic knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Bamboo or similar;
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments;
• Experience using Jira;
• Familiarity with best practices for writing test cases and technical documentation;
• Desirable knowledge of databases;
• Desirable experience executing and validating SQL queries for data persistence testing;
• Desirable experience with integrated execution reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports;
• Desirable experience with tools like JMeter or Gatling for performance analysis.
