About the role

  • Senior Frontend Developer at Capgemini designing and implementing quality digital customer experiences. Leading international project teams in the digital transformation journey for customers.

Responsibilities

  • In the “Digital Customer Experience” (DCX) team you accompany our clients through their digital transformation.
  • We identify needs for change, develop tailored solutions and implement them independently — innovative, agile and future-oriented.
  • In your role as Senior Frontend Developer, Customer Experience (m/f/d) you take responsibility in international project teams and design digital applications that deliver real added value.
  • You develop innovative applications, design their frontend architecture and make well-founded decisions about libraries to be used, such as for state management or testing.
  • In close collaboration with UI/UX designers you develop design systems and their technical implementation, with a strong focus on quality, usability and accessibility.
  • For you, frontend development does not stop at coding — you also consider security and operations as part of DevSecOps teams.
  • Technical responsibility for projects and subprojects is part of your responsibilities.
  • You actively contribute to the development of new service offerings as well as to sales activities and proposal processes.
  • Together with an experienced team you shape projects and — depending on needs — also provide professional guidance and support on site with the client.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, a STEM discipline or a comparable field forms your academic foundation.
  • Several years of practical experience with modern frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
  • You have already integrated AI tools into design and development processes and possess the corresponding knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a structured, solution-focused way of working distinguish you.
  • You have very good German and English skills and are willing to work in international project teams and to travel occasionally for projects.
  • For certain projects, a security screening in accordance with regulations for classified information and sabotage protection may be required.
