About the role
- Managing Consultant or Senior Manager leading Digital Engineering for Aerospace & Defense sectors. Driving growth, profitability, and innovation within Capgemini Invent’s Intelligent Industry practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements to solve clients’ toughest problems, deliver measurable outcomes, and support their success and growth
- Expand Capgemini’s presence by identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and achieving commercial success
- Shape practice strategy, develop teams, and ensure operational excellence to strengthen Capgemini’s capabilities
Requirements
- Experience in consulting at a leading firm (7+ years) and/or industry roles (10+ years)
- Track record of success in leading large-scale transformation programs within engineering and manufacturing
- Deep knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense sector (key players, product segments, processes, trends and challenges)
- Appetite to support growth in other industries beyond A&D, including Automotive, Energy and High-tech sectors
- Strong understanding of PLM, MOM/MES, ERP, and MBSE / MBE solutions (business value, vendor landscape, capabilities and limitations), digital twins, and digital threads
- Understanding of the potential of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their applications in driving innovation and efficiency within the Aerospace & Defense sector
- Ability to define strategic analyses and provide actionable recommendations for transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and implement engineering transformation roadmaps in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
- Experience in setting up and industrializing target operating and execution models to enhance efficiency
- Travel is required per 50-75% dependent on client need.
