Responsibilities
Supporting the design, specification, testing, and validation of propulsion system components for assigned vehicle families
Assisting with documentation for component changes, including specifications and engineering changes
Participating in the development and execution of validation plans (DVP&R) to ensure components meet functional requirements
Analyzing component failures and contributing to problem-solving processes under guidance from senior team members
Learning to utilize 2D and 3D design software (NX) to create and modify component designs for internal combustion engines, electric motors, and structural components
Supporting cost reduction initiatives while maintaining component performance standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers on part development according to established processes
Requirements
Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electro-mechanical, or related field)
1-3 years of experience (Junior/Mid level) in the automotive industry or related engineering field, with exposure to product development processes
Knowledge of automotive systems, particularly internal combustion engines and vibration/shock absorption components such as rubber-metal brackets used in cooling systems or body structures
Familiarity with computer-aided design software, preferably NX and/or CATIA
Basic understanding of testing and validation methodologies in an engineering environment
Good analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
Willingness to learn and develop expertise in automotive engineering and propulsion systems.
