About the role
- Manager of Technology Finance overseeing financial management and reporting for Digital Technology teams. Collaborating with various teams to ensure fiscal responsibility and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial management to technology teams within Digital Technology
- Lead the financial expense reporting and analysis
- Support and prepare various month end, quarter-end and year-end financial reporting packages
- Support monthly financial forecasting and variance analysis
- Support the annual budget planning cycle
- Work with Project Management Office teams to support invoicing processing
- Provide support to larger or more complex projects through financial reporting
- Support organizational change and improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of financial reporting or project accounting related experience
- Familiarity with SAP FICO
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of Office Suite of products (Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Teams, SharePoint and Power BI would be an asset
- Holding or working towards an accounting designation or certification is preferred.
