About the role
- Finance Manager ensuring compliance with local accounting and fiscal requirements at Campari in Cape Town, South Africa. Supporting local functions and managing accounting processes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and fiscal requirements
- Support local functions along all key transaction processes
- Prepare monthly and annual adjustment journal entries
- Manage local cash and bank activities
- Prepare supporting documents for submission to taxation authorities
- Manage relationship with external tax consultants and auditors
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with group requirements
- Own the internal controls and accounting compliance function
Requirements
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of rounded Accounting experience, preferably in consumer goods industries
- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Excellent skills and consolidated experience on accounting techniques and methods
- Advanced user of SAP/FI-CO
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of business processes and risks in FMCG industry
- Fluency in English
- South African Citizenship or possessing a valid work permit / immigration status
