Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, build, and launch new user-facing features
- Lead development of new features and improvements for Cambly’s Student and Tutor experience.
- Optimize performance and ensure a smooth, high-quality teaching & learning experience.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to build product experiences that help students find the perfect tutor, create a learning plan, and build their English Fluency.
- Maintain a high code quality product through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- 3+ years of experience with React
- Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Experience building and maintaining production systems using tools like Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic, etc.
- Good understanding of frontend technologies, patterns, and best practices.
- Good understanding of backend systems, patterns, and best practices.
- Passion for building products that have a real impact on users.
