About the role

  • Senior Engineer Building Automation managing international projects and client consultations. Collaborating closely with various teams and ensuring effective implementation of building automation concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Development of HOAI service phases 1 to 7 for building automation
  • Management of international projects
  • Advising clients on all building automation topics, in particular by: identifying and documenting client requirements
  • Developing building automation concepts
  • Preliminary cost estimates
  • Review and evaluation of existing planning documents from service phases 1 to 8
  • Developing proposals for optimization
  • Close collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines, in particular with the Digital Building Consultants
  • Support during commissioning and acceptance of building automation installations
  • Survey and evaluation of existing systems and new construction projects

Requirements

  • Degree in building automation, electrical engineering, computer science, building services engineering or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the planning and implementation of building automation systems
  • Experience working with TRIC, Autodesk Revit and ORCA AVA
  • Extensive experience with building automation communication systems, e.g. BACnet, Modbus, KNX, M-Bus, DALI, SMI and vendor bus systems
  • Preferable: additional knowledge and experience with new digital building technologies and in information and communication technology (ICT)
  • Excellent language skills in German and/or English
  • Strong communication skills, good time management and team orientation.
