About the role
- Junior Procurement Manager supporting procurement activities in a fast-paced environment at BURGA. Assisting with supplier sourcing, contracts, and cost optimization in the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Support the procurement team in day-to-day purchasing and supplier coordination activities.
- Assist with supplier research, data collection, and preparation for negotiations and contracts.
- Analyze procurement data using Excel and other tools to support cost optimization and decision-making.
- Collaborate with inventory, quality, and production teams to ensure purchasing aligns with operational needs.
- Help track supplier performance, prepare reports, and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- Support the team in resolving supply issues and improving procurement processes.
- Explore and apply AI-driven tools and automation solutions to improve procurement efficiency and reporting.
Requirements
- Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or business operations (prior experience not required).
- A degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related field would be a strong advantage.
- Analytical mindset and confidence working with Excel and data.
- Business-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong motivation to grow into a more independent procurement role over time.
- Curiosity and willingness to use AI tools to improve workflows, analysis, and decision-making.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across teams.
