About the role

  • System Administrator managing and developing corporate applications for BurdaSolutions. Focusing on operational support, maintenance, and automation in IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation, further development and stabilization of our corporate applications
  • Operation of applications, databases, middleware, archiving and financial systems
  • Identification, preparation, coordination and execution of maintenance activities
  • Performance analysis and tuning
  • Automation of system processes and daily routines

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree with a focus on Computer Science
  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or an equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of setting up and operating corporate applications in a heterogeneous environment
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Git, Terraform or Ansible is desirable
  • Passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to hosting and operations
  • Ambition to help shape the future and take on responsibility within an agile team
