About the role

  • FP&A Manager responsible for financial planning and forecasting processes at Bupa Global. Overseeing analysis of business performance and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and delivery of Bupa’s Global financial planning and forecasting processes
  • Undertaking reporting and detailed analysis of business performance to deliver added value support and challenge to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Leading on the evolution of forecasting tools & processes to drive more efficient and insightful forecasting.
  • Developing and managing relationships with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
  • Providing support to the wider FP&A team, and aiding in the development of team members
  • Providing a value-add service to stakeholders to understand key financial metrics as compared to the plan.
  • Providing value added analysis around key performance metrics
  • Reviewing commentaries and submissions from regions and providing cross-divisional analysis and interpretation of results to the BG Exco, Market Unit and other stakeholders.
  • Identification and monitoring of key performance indicators for the business

Requirements

  • Professional Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA) with minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
  • Ability to act as a change agent and champion change throughout the team.
  • Proven leadership attributes with the ability to translate and implement strategic vision through people management and development activities.
  • Comprehensive financial planning and analysis knowledge with demonstrable success of operating at a senior level, ideally in within the financial services sector or insurance.
  • Experience of operating in a regulated environment.
  • First-hand experience of financial / business planning in a complex and multi-level (i.e. Group / Divisional / Multinational) organisational environment.
  • An understanding of process re-engineering and the ability to make improvements to planning processes and to embed the changes throughout an organisation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including preparation of executive presentations.
  • Advanced abilities to interact with and influence at senior levels, particularly at Divisional and Executive level (up to Board).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Anaplan and Oracle databases; experience of working with financial systems an advantage.
