Responsibilities
- Ensure IT security by implementing policies, monitoring, and administering security components
- Administer and optimize IT infrastructure (servers, networks, and Microsoft environment)
- Responsible for backup and recovery processes, including testing and optimization
- Install, configure and operate IT systems with a focus on stability and security
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure and security incidents and take appropriate remedial actions
- Plan and implement IT projects to further develop the infrastructure in collaboration with business units and external service providers
Requirements
- Completed degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification, e.g., IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker)
- Relevant experience in IT infrastructure and IT security
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, as well as firewall and network configuration
- Team and communication skills for working with distributed teams and diverse stakeholders
- Very good German language skills (spoken and written, at least C1 level) and good English skills
- Driver’s license class B
