About the role
- Senior Accountant managing intercompany and consolidation processes in an international setting for Bumble. Collaborating with finance teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end tasks such as accruals, fixed assets, intangibles and amortization across multiple entities; including international entities in various foreign currencies
- Prepare audit requests for the statutory audit teams to prepare the financial statements.
- Prepare journal entries for multi-currency and multiple legal entities consolidation process.
- Prepare subsidiary statutory reporting under IFRS ensuring accurate financial statements.
- Prepare journal entries and documentation with support from tax, treasury and legal team on intercompany loans.
- Prepare intercompany transactions and consolidation journal entries and related controls for SOX.
- Take on special projects and contribute to process improvements as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting and/or industry experience in a multinational company.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience in consolidations, intercompany, eliminations and transfer pricing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
- NetSuite experience is preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects.
