About the role
- Site Reliability Engineer at bsport scaling infrastructure and streamlining deployment processes. Responsible for managing reliability and CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Scale our infrastructure by designing and implementing multi-region clusters and shared SQL databases to support our expansion.
- Improve deployment pipelines, ensuring the branded app deployment process (iOS & Android) runs efficiently on EC2 instances.
- Modularise our Django backend and databases with domain-based deployments to enhance reliability and maintainability.
- Orchestrate our frontend using mono-repositories and module federation, streamlining our development workflow.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance developer efficiency and code deployment reliability.
- Manage and deploy internal and external observability solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or backend development.
- Strong expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and high-availability architectures.
- Proficiency in Python & Django.
- Experience with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL (bonus for Database Administration experience).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, you take ownership of projects and push for technical excellence.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English to collaborate across teams.
